Although hexavalent Chromium compounds are considered to be oxidizing, due to the insoulubility of lead chromates,very little oxidizing hazard is expected. Lead Chromate in the presence of organic compound at elevated temperatures may create fire hazard. Dust explosions are possible. Suspect Cancer Hazard - Risk of Cancer depends upon duration and level of exposure.Prolonged or repeated contact may cause irritation to eyes, skin and respiratory tract. Prolonged or repeated inhalation & ingestion maycause delayed injury to the kidney and blood, Gastrointestinal , nervous and reproductive system.
