SECTION 2: Hazards identification
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: Avoid contact with, skin, eyes, mucous membranes and clothing, causes burning of mouth, throat, and digestive tract. May be fatal.
Principle Routes of Exposure
Eyes, Ingestion,Skin EYES: May cause mild to severe irritation, pain, redness, tearing. INGESTION: May cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, diarrhea, vomitting, intestinal cramping, large amounts may be fatal. INHALATION: None. Exposure not likely. Mists may be irritating to mucous membranes in the nose, throat, and lungs. SKIN: Contact with liquid can freeze tissue similar to thermal burn.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure
Pre-existing disorders of the skin, respiratory system, and eyes will be aggrivated by over exposure.
