Main Hazards The compound is corrosive in the eye, is a severe skin irritaint, but is not a skin sensitiser in animals.
Potential health effects
Inhalation - Ingestion Inhalation of fumes or ingestion may cause headache, nausea, muscular pain. Irritation of the eyes and nose may result from contact with fumes. Chronic (Prolonged effects) Anaemia, insomnia, weakness, constipation, nausea and abdominal pain due to ingestion. Skin burns, damage of mucous membrane, and ulceration due to skin exposure and inhalation.
