This product is non-hazardous as supplied. Dust containing Quartz particles may be released upon mechanical machining (cutting, sanding, drilling). Inhalation of high concentrations of dust can irritate the airways, eyes and/or skin. The inhalation of dust containing Quartz, in particular high concentrations of fine (respirable) dust can lead to lung disease (Silicosis) and an increased risk of lung cancer. Crystalline silica is classified as carcinogenic to humans (IARC Group 1).
