SECTION 2: Hazards identification
THIS COLORLESS LIQUID PRODUCT IS CORROSIVE. INHALATION: Inhalation can cause severe irritation of mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Symptoms may include burning sensation, coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, shortness of breath, headache, nausea and vomiting. May cause pulmonary edema, a medical emergency. EYE CONTACT: LIQUID AND MIST WILL CAUSE SERIOUS DISCOMFORT TO THE EYE WITH CONJUNCTIVAL/CORNEAL DESTRUCTION. SERIOUS CORNEAL INJURY IS ANTICIPATED. SKIN CONTACT: WILL CAUSE PAIN, IRRITATION, AND BURNS TO THE SKIN. INGESTION: WILL CAUSE ABDOMINAL DISCOMFORT OR PAIN, AND POSSIBLE BURNS TO THE DIGESTIVE TRACT CHRONIC: NO SIGNIFICANT EFFECTS HAVE BEEN FOUND. TARGET ORGAN: POINT OF CONTACT.
