Principle Routes of Exposure
Exposure may be inhalation and/or skin or eye contact, depending on conditions of use. CARCINOGENICITY IARC and NTP have reviewed crystalline silica. Crystalline silica is listed with IARC as Group 1 (carcinogenic to humans). IARC found sufficient evidence in humans for the carcinogenicity of inhaled crystalline silica in the form of quartz or cristobalite from occupational sources. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
