Principle Routes of Exposure
inhalation, ingestion. Generally considered to be a non-breathable solid; however, nuisance dust may be generated in some operations. The pellets can act as an abrasive, molten or heated material can cause burns to unprotected skin. The use of long sleeve shirts and gloves is recommended during processing of hot polymer compounds. Eye contact with any particulate matter can cause eye irritation and should be avoided by wearing approved safety glasses or goggles.
