Reaction with acids will release toxic chlorine gas. Irritating to eyes and skin. Do not ingest. Causes severe skin and eye damage.

Precautionary statements

Do not breathe gas/fume/vapours and sprays. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/eye/face protection. If swallowed: rinse mouth and do not induce vomiting. If inhaled: remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If on skin (or hair): immediately remove/take off all contaminated clothing. Immediately rinse skin with water/shower. If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Store locked up. Store away from foodstuffs. Rinse from food contact surfaces after use. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations. Warning - do not mix with any other chemicals. May release dangerous gases. Keep out of reach of children. Wear suitable neoprene gloves and eye/face protection. Workers should have access to a wash fountain. If splashed in eyes, wash thoroughly with tepid water.
