Hazard statements
Although the individual hazardous properties of the ingredients contained in this product are given, the hazards of the full mixture have not been determined and may not reflect the hazardous characteristics of its ingredients. Due to resin encapsulation, the probability of exposure to any hazardous ingredients contained in this product (and related adverse health effects) during normal operations is considered minimal. As with all plastic pellets, avoid breathing vapors generated during normal processing. All plastic pellets do present a mechanical hazard if ingested. Any plastic may produce extremely hazardous by-products if burned. Titanium Dioxide/Aluminum Hydroxide/Amorphous Silica: Eye contact may cause eye irritation with tearing, pain or blurred vision. May cause irritation of nose, throat and lungs with cough, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath. Carbon Black: Temporary discomfort to the upper respiratory tract may occur due to inhalation of dust concentrations above the permissible exposure limit (PEL). Carbon Black contains trace amounts of adsorbed polynuclear aromatic compounds (PNA). In non-absorbed form, some PNA’s have been found to be carcinogens in certain studies. No carcinogenic effect, however, has been found in animals or humans due to exposure to carbon black. Carbon black in not considered carcinogenic by

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: • Color plastic pellets with slight or no odor. 0 HEALTH • Spilled material may create a slipping/tripping hazard. 1 FLAMMABILITY • Can burn in a fire, creating toxic smoke. REACTIVITY 0 • Molten plastic can cause severe thermal burns. • Fumes produced during the melt processing may cause eye, skin, and respiratory 0 PERSONAL tract irritation. Severe over exposure may result in nausea, headache, chills, and PROTECTION fever. • Secondary operations, such as grinding, sanding, or sawing can produce fine particle dust which may present an explosion or respiratory hazard.
Potential health effects
Ingestion: No hazard in normal industrial use. Skin Absorption: No absorption hazard in normal industrial use. Eye Contact: Can cause mechanical irritation is dusts are generated. Skin Contact: May cause skin irritation. Chronic/Carcinogenicity: NTP: Not tested.
