The risk of cancer depends on the duration and level of exposure to dust from sanding surfaces or mist from spray applications. Trimethoxysilanes are capable of forming methanol if hydrolyzed or ingested. If swallowed, methanol may be harmful or fatal or cause blindness. Emits toxic fumes when heated.
