SECTION 2: Hazards identification

2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture

Emergency overview Solid. Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye damage. May cause respiratory irritation. May form explosible dust-air mixture if dispersed. Handling and/or processing of this material may generate a dust which can cause mechanical irritation of the eyes, skin, nose and throat. IF INHALED: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor if you feel unwell. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice or attention. IF IN EYES: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. See Section 12 for environmental precautions. Prevention

Wear protective gloves. Wear eye or face protection. Use only outdoors or in a well- ventilated area. Avoid breathing dust or mist. Wash thoroughly after handling. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.

Response

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor if you feel unwell. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice or attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. Suitable extinguishing media : Use dry chemical powder.

Storage

Store locked up. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.

Disposal

Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national and international regulations.
