2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
According to the European regulation N°1272/2008 (CLP), the acicular wollastonite is not classified. Exposure to the product may cause slight mechanical irritation of the skin, eyes and upper respiratory system. These effects are generally transitory. Crystalline silica contain in the product is classified STOT RE1, H372 (cause damage to lung through prolonged or repeated inhalation exposure).
