Acute: Harmful if absorbed through skin. Symptoms of inhalation exposure may include burning sensation, coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, shortness of breath, headache, nausea, and vomiting. May be severely irritating to the nose, throat and respiratory tract. May cause lung damage. Eye contact may cause severe eye damage, including vision disturbances, corneal damage, and blindness. Overexposure to vapor may cause headache, dizziness, unconsciousness and/or breathing difficulty. This product contains an ingredient where aspiration into the lungs may occur during ingestion or vomiting causing tissue damage or lung injury. May cause allergic respiratory reaction. Harmful if swallowed. Ingestion is not an expected route of entry in industrial or commercial uses. Overexposure to lead in this product can damage the nervous, urinary, gastrointestinal, blood, blood-forming, and reproductive systems. Chronic: May cause long-term lung damage. Repeated exposure to high concentrations may cause injury to liver, kidney, and respiratory tract. Prolonged or repeated contact may result in dermatitis.

Prevention

Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Wear protective gloves. Use personal protective equipment as required. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace. Avoid release to the environment.

Response

Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Specific treatment (see supplemental first aid instructions on this label). IF INHALED: Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Collect spillage.
