This item is not considered hazardous by the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) Formax polishing compounds are formulated with abrasives surrounded in a matrix of grease binders, waxes and or soap / water emulsions. Ingredient ratio proportions can be and are varied to meet individual buffing needs and surface conditioning. Compounds as shipped do not present a hazard. Abrasive residue particulates can be created. Proper ventilation and respirator recommended.
