EMERGENCY Eye irritant. Contains crystalline silica dust. Breathing crystalline silica dust over a prolonged period OVERVIEW of time in excess of the permissible exposure limit can cause silicosis, a lung disease which is often progressive and disabling and on rare occasions fatal.
