SECTION 2: Hazards identification
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW IRRITANT HARMFUL HIGHLY FLAMMABLE DANGEROUS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT EYE Contact with eyes causes redness and discomfort which is transient. SKIN CONTACT Irritating to the skin. Repeated or prolonged contact may cause defatting of the skin resulting in dryness, cracking and dermatitis. INHALATION Vapours may cause drowsiness and dizziness. INGESTION Aspiration of the product into the lungs following ingestion may cause pulmonary injury leading to pneumonitis PHYSICO-CHEMICAL May readily catch fire after brief contact with source of ignition. ENVIRONMENTAL Very toxic to aquatic organisms. Not readily biodegradable.
