Presents an aspiration hazard if ingested and vomiting occurs; aspiration can result in potentially fatal pulmonary edema. May cause irritation by skin and eye contact and if inhaled. Prolonged skin contact may cause defatting of the skin. Some evidence exists that organic tin compounds may cause adverse effects to the neurological system, based on animal data. The Naphthalene component is a suspect carcinogen, based on animal data. Flammability Hazard: This product is combustible and can ignite if exposed to direct flame or temperatures above 147.5°C (297.5°F). Reactivity Hazard: This product is not reactive.
Environmental hazards
This product is acutely and chronically toxic to marine organisms due to the high level of Dibutyltin Dilaurate, a compound which causes acute and chronic harm to marine organisms and Psuedocumene, a compound that cause chronic effects to marine organisms. All release to the environment should be avoided.
