GHS07, GHS08 EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: Physical Description: This product is a heavy paste with a mild odor characteristic of isocyanates.
Health hazards
DANGER! May be harmful by inhalation or ingestion. May cause skin, eye and respiratory tract irritation, especially if exposure is prolonged. Can cause skin and respiratory sensitization due to the presence of isocyanates. The Diphenylmethane 4,4’-Diisocyanate is a suspect carcinogen. Flammability Hazard: This product is expected to be combustible and can ignite if exposed to high temperatures for a prolonged period or if subjected to flame. Reactivity Hazard: Due to the Polyether Ether component, there is a possibility of slow decomposition in air to form peroxides. The product contains stabilizers to prevent oxidization and polymerization. Depletion of stabilizers in the product can cause decomposition. Contact with water may cause polymerization and rupture of closed containers.
