Other hazards

Risk of explosion. An uncontrolled explosion may cause great physical damage. During explosion/in case of fire, toxic gases may be formed. e.g. oxides of nitrogen (NO, NO2) and carbon (CO, CO2). Risk of explosion by shock, friction, fire or other sources of ignition Contact with the hazardous ingredients is highly unlikely. Ethylene glycol dinitrate (EGDN) is fixed in the blasting gel which is further packaged in plastic sheathed and completely sealed cartridges. In addition, no EGDN remains after explosion as it is completely converted into carbon dioxide, nitric oxides and water vapour. Keep a safe distance. Do not breathe fumes after detonation. Additional warnings This mixture/product does not contain any substances known to fulfil the criteria for PBT and vPvB classification. This product does not contain any substances considered to be endocrine disruptors in accordance with the criteria set out in Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2100 or Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/707.
