Potential health effects
Product are not considered hazardous chemicals. Sorbitol propoxylated polyols are essentially non-irritating to the eyes. Prolonged dermal exposure is not likely to produce significant skin irritation. Because of their low vapor pressure, these products are not likely to be inhaled.
Environmental effects
Are expected to biodegrade very slowly in the environment and are practically non-toxic to the aquatic life. Emergency overview: Sorbitol/ Glycerol polyols are stable under recommended conditions. However, they can oxidize at high temperature. Avoid contact with oxidizing agents and strong acids. Reaction with isocyanates generates heat. Elaborated by: Technical & Development Department
