SECTION 2: Hazards identification
HMIS Classification EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: This product is a pale yellow to amber liquid. This product may irritate contaminated tissue. Inhalation overexposures to the vapors of this product can cause irritation, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, and headaches. If involved in a fire, this product will release smoke, acrid vapors and toxic gases (i.e., carbon oxides, bromine, cyanogen bromide, and dibromoacetonitrile). This product is not reactive. Emergency responders must wear personal protective equipment (and have appropriate fire-extinguishing protection) suitable for the situation to which they are responding.
