The substance is a pharmacologically active substance. If the substance is absorbed systemically by inhalation, it has blood-sugar lowering properties. An overdose of inhaled substance may lead to a state of hypoglycaemia, especially in diabetic individuals. Hypoglycaemia is in severe cases lethal if untreated.
