2.3 Other hazards
Description of hazard In contact with compounds containing chlorine, toxic gases may form. Generates strong heat in contact with alkaline compounds, risk of bumping.
Potential health effects
Corrosive to skin and eyes. May cause permanent damage to the eyes, especially if the product is not washed away IMMEDIATELY. See section 11 for additional information on health hazards.
Environmental effects
Substantial amounts of the product may lead to a local change in acidity in small water systems which may have adverse effects on aquatic organisms. The product contains a substance which is hazardous to aquatic organisms. See section 12 as well. This product does not contain any PBT or vPvB substances.
