Potential health effects

INHALATION: Vapors may be irritating to eyes and may cause respiratory tract irritation. High concentrations may lead to central nervous system effects (drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, headaches, paralysis and loss of consciousness) Repeated excessive exposures may cause blood disorders such as anemia and leukemia. LC50 (mg/l): no data LC50 (mg/m3): no data LC50 (ppm): no data WARNING: the burning of any hydrocarbon as a fuel in an area without adequate ventilation may result in hazardous levels of combustion products, including carbon monoxide, and inadequate oxygen levels, which may cause unconsciousness, suffocation and death. SKIN: Moderately irritating to the skin. Repeated or prolonged contact may result in defatting, redness, itching, inflammation, cracking, and possible secondary infection. Draize Skin Score: no data Out of 8.0 LD50 (mg/kg): no data EYES: Mildly irritating to the eyes. INGESTION: Product may be harmful or fatal if swallowed. Threat of ingestion comes from the danger of aspiration (breathing) of liquid drops into the lungs, particularly from vomiting. Aspiration may result in chemical pneumonia (fluid in the lungs), severe lung damage, respiratory failure, and death may occur. LD50 (g/kg): no data 01/09/2013 2
