Industry experience indicates that natural gas contains small amounts of radon, a naturally- occurring radioactive gas. (See section 16 for more information). This product contains trace amounts of oxygen and hydrogen sulfide, and it may also contain trace amounts of the odorants butyl mercaptan and methyl ethyl sulfide. Not all natural gas in the pipeline system is odorized. Odorant is added at various points throughout the system. All natural gas supplied to residential customers is odorized.
