Potential health effects
Eyes: Can cause irritation, primarily through mechanical abrasion. Skin: Repeated or prolonged exposure can cause irritation, primarily through mechanical abrasion. Ingestion: Ingestion is not a normal route of exposure. Large quantities could cause gastro- intestinal irritation. Inhalation: Exposure to dust can cause respiratory irritation, especially as an aggravation to pre- existing conditions. Long-term inhalation of excessive amounts of dust can result in lung damage (pneumoconiosis).
