Potential health effects

Acute Eye: Short term liquid or vapor contact may result in eye irritation. Prolonged and repeated contact may be more irritating and injure eye tissue. Acute Skin: Prolonged and repeated liquid contact can cause defatting and drying of the skin which may result in skin irritation and dermatitis. May aggravate existing dermatitis. Acute Inhalation: High concentrations or prolonged exposure to lower concentrations may be slightly irritating to mucus membranes. High vapor/aerosol concentrations (greater than approximately 700 ppm, attainable at elevated temperatures well above ambient ) are irritating to the eyes and the respiratory tract, and may cause headaches, dizziness, anesthesia, drowsiness, unconsciousness, and other central nervous system effects, including death. Acute ingestion: Liquid ingestion may result in vomiting; aspiration of liquid into the lungs must be avoided as liquid contact with the lungs can result in chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema/hemorrhage.
