Principle Routes of Exposure
Ingestion Effects of Over Exposure: May cause photosensitivity in sun exposure. May have increased sedative effects from drug. Threshold Limit Value: Maximum daily adult dose is 300 mg in 24 hours. Actual dose and schedule must be determined for each patient individually. 7. Side Effects: May include any of the following: Drowsiness; weakness; dryness of the nose, mouth and throat; constipation; thickening of the bronchial secretions; headache. Possible Adverse Effects: Skin rash; hives; blurred or double vision; difficult urination; diarrhea; nausea; vomiting; excitement; confusion. Symptoms of Overdose: Drowsiness; confusion; incoordination; muscle tremors; fever; dilated pupils; stupor; coma; seizures.
