Principle Routes of Exposure
Ingestion Effects of Over Exposure: Fatigue; muscle weakness; stomach irritation; indigestion; excess sweating; flush face; fluid retention; hypertension; swelling of extremities. 7. Side Effects: May include any of the following: Increased appetite; weight gain; retention of salt and water; infection; excretion of potassium; increased facial hair; increase in white blood cell count; skin rash; headache; dizziness; insomnia; depression. Possible Adverse Effects: Mental and emotional disturbance; peptic ulcer; abnormal lipids; osteoporosis. Symptoms of Overdose: “Moon Face”; “Buffalo Hump”; acid indigestion; hypertension; sweating; fluid retention; muscle weakness; fatigue.
