Potential health effects
Inhalation (acute): Breathing dust may cause nose, throat or lung irritation and choking. The described effect depends on the degree of exposure and preexisting respiratory conditions. Inhalation (chronic): Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause inflammation of the respiratory passages. May cause chemical bronchitis with coughing and difficulty breathing. Risk of injury depends on duration and level of exposure. Long term exposures which result in bronchitis may result in additional heath effects. Eye Contact (acute/chronic): Initially may cause eye irritation with discomfort, tearing or blurring of vision. Continued overexposure could potentially cause burns and damage to cornea. Skin Contact (acute/chronic): Initially may cause dry skin, redness, discomfort or irritation. Containued overexposure could potentially cause bums. Ingestion (acute/chronic): Causes gastrointestinal tract irritation. May cause nausea vomiting and diarrhea. May cause central nervous system depression. PO.
