Potential health effects

1,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,5,5-Decafluoropentane (HFC-43-10mee) INHALATION: Vapors are heavier than air and can cause suffocation by reducing oxygen available for breathing. Effects of breathing high concentrations of vapor may include: Tiredness or drowsiness. Convulsions. May cause cardiac arrhythmia. SKIN: Prolong skin contact may defat the skin and produce dermatitis. Page 2 of 10 1,1,1,3,3-Pentafluorobutane (HFC-365mfc) Based on animal data, HFC-36Smfc may cause slight eye irritation which may cause tearing, pain or blurred vision. Repeated skin contact may cause defatting of the skin and produce dermatitis. Inhalation of HFC-365mfc may cause central nervous system depression with dizziness, confusion, incoordination, drowsiness or unconsciousness. Gross overexposure by inhalation may cause asphyxia. Trans-1,2-Dichloroethylene INHALATION: Inhalation may cause central nervous system depression with dizziness, headache, confusion, incoordination, drowsiness, and loss of consciousness or death. SKIN: Skin contact may include skin irritation with burning, redness, swelling, rash, discomfort or pain. EYE: .Eye contact may include severe eye irritation with tearing, pain or blurring of vision. INGESTION: Ingestion may cause pulmonary edema (body fluid in the lungs) with cough, wheezing, abnormal lung sounds, possibly progressing to sever shortness of breath and bluish discoloration of the skin: symptoms may be delayed. Isopropy! Alcohol Inhalation may cause respiratory tract irritation. Inhalation of high vapor concentrations can cause CNS-depression and narcosis along with lung effects, liver effects, kidney effects, and spleen effects. Repeated and/or prolonged skin contact with Isopropyl Alcohol may cause defatting of the skin with irritation. Contact with the vapor may cause eye irritation. Poly-TFE, Alpha-Hydro-Omega-(Methylcyclohexyl) & Poly-Tetrafluoroethylene INHALATION Dust may cause Respiratory tract irritation The thermal decomposition vapors of fluorinated polymers may cause polymer fume fever with flu-like symptoms in humans, especially when smoking contaminated tobacco. Symptoms usually appear after several hours and resolve within 1 to 2days. Repeated episodes of polymer fume fever may result in persistent lung effects. Polymer may extensively decompose if severely overheated or burned. Inhalation of fluorinated decomposition products may cause lung irritation and pulmonary edema. Symptoms may be delayed for several hours. Symptoms may be severe or life-threatening SKIN: May cause skin irritation with discomfort, itching, redness or swelling. EYE: Dust may cause: mechanical irritation with tearing, pain or visual impairment, Redness, Discomfort Page 3 of 10
