Appearance/Odor

White, translucent liquid, alcohol odor. WARNING Flammable liquid and vapor. Vapors may travel considerable distances to ignition sources and flash back. Hazardous gases can be produced requiring respirator. Heating above 500ºF (260ºC) may cause formation of potentially toxic substances.

Principle Routes of Exposure

Eye Skin Ingestion, inhalation, and skin absorption. Causes eye irritation. Causes skin irritation. May be harmful if absorbed through the skin. Ingestion: Inhalation May be harmful if swallowed. May cause irritation to mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract.

Potential chronic health

Irritation of the eyes with tearing, pain, or blurred vision. Skin irritation with discomfort, redness, or rash. Irritation to mucous membranes and respiratory tract with coughing, headache, and nausea. May cause central nervous system depression with dizziness, drowsiness, or unconsciousness or fatality from with gross overexposure. Signs & Symptoms of Symptoms of skin exposure can include defatting, redness, and Exposure dermatitis. Symptoms of eye irritation may include redness and a burning sensation. Symptoms of inhalation exposure can include sneezing, sore throat, or runny nose.
