Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Toxic gases may occur in case of thermal decomposition, perfluorisobutylene and hydrogen fluoride can be released. Small quantities of decomposed products can arise with a continue heating at 200°C. The decomposition velocity increases at a temperature above 200°C
