and seek medical advice Health = 1 Fire = 4 Reactivity = 0 S33 Take precautionary measures against static discharges Hazard and Action Summary: WARNING! FLAMMABLE AEROSOL. SKIN, EYE, AND RESPIRATORY TRACT IRRITANT. Keep away from flame, heat, and static discharge sources. Do not puncture, incinerate, or expose container to temperatures above 49°C (120°F). May be harmful or fatal if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of aerosol. If contacts skin flush with water and wash with mild soap. If sprayed in eyes flush with water. If inhaled remove to fresh air. In medical emergency, call physician. Read MSDS before using. EEC Class: Extremely Flammable, Irritant Canadian Clas&&ion:A,B5,D2B
Potential health effects
No health effects are expected when exposures are controlled as indicated in section 8. When exposures are not controlled appropriately, the following health effects may be caused by the listed chemicals. I-Methoxy-2-Propanol Acetate; Inhalation or vapor or mists may cause irritation to the nose and throat. Exposure to high concentrations (about 1000 ppm) may cause severe mucous membrane irritation, dizziness, nausea, drowsiness, incoordination, headache, and unconsciousness. Skin contact may cause slight irritation. Eye contact may cause irritation. Ingestion may result in symptoms similar to those associated with inhalation of high concentrations of this compound (see above). Chronic exposure is not expected to produce chronic health effects. The following target organs may be affected: central nervous system, respiratory system Isobutane; Human exposure to 1000 for 8 hours over a 5 day period did not result in adverse health effects. Inhalation of significant concentrations may result in central nervous system depression (headache, nausea, incoordination). May act as an asphyxiant at concentrations exceeding the lower explosive limit (1.8%). Skin contact is not expected to produce hazardous health effects. Eye contact is not expected to produce hazardous health effects. Ingestion is unlikely in an occupational environment. Chronic exposure is not expected to produce chronic The following target organs may be affected central nervous system Butane; Inhalation of high concentrations may result central nervous system affects including headache, nausea, drowsiness, and incoordination. Skin contact is not expected to produce hazardous health effects. Eye contact may cause blurred vision. Ingestion is not expected to be a route of exposure. Chronic exposure is not expected to produce chronic health effects. The following target organs may be affected: central nervous system Light Aliphatic Solvent Naphtha; Inhalation of mists or vapors may result in respiratory tract irritation. Inhalation or ingestion of a significant amount may result in central nervous system depression characterized by headache, nausea, fatigue, unconsciousness, and death. Skin contact may result in mild irritation. Eye contact may result in mild irritation. Ingestion may also result in gastrointestinal tract upset including vomiting. Prolonged or repeated skin contact may result in dermatitis. The following target organs may be affected: central nervous system, skin Propane; Inhalation is not expected to produce hazardous health effects other than as a simple asphyxiant. Skin contact is not expected to produce hazardous health effects. Eye contact is not expected to produce hazardous Ingestion is not expected to produce hazardous health effects. Chronic exposure is not expected to produce chronic health effects. The following target organs may be affected: No known target organs Acetone; Inhalation may result in nose and throat irritation. Inhalation of higher concentration may result in headache, fatigue, dizziness. Inhalation of extremely high concentrations may result in unconsciousness, coma, and death. Skin contact may result in slight swelling and redness. May be absorbed through the skin. Eye contact may result in severe irritation and reversible cornea1 swelling. Ingestion may result in mouth and gastrointestinal tract irritation and central nervous system depression characterized by fatigue and incoordination. Prolonged or repeated skin contact may result in dermatitis. The following target organs may be affected: central nervous system, skin
