2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
Regulation Criteria EC 1272/2008 (CLP) Not dangerous Classification according to directive 67/548/CEE and directive 1999/45/CE Substance or mix not dangerous in accordance with regulation 1999/45/CE, Information concerning particular hazards for human and environment: When mixed with water, this material hardens and becomes very hot, sometimes in a fast way. NEVER attempt to use this material to cast body parts. Failure to observe these instructions may cause severe burns that may request a surgical removal of the damaged tissues or limb amputation. For a normal use are not expected unusual risks. However, during the handling of the product not mixed and the sandling is released dust into the atmosphere. Exposure to high dust levels may cause irritation of skin, eyes, nose, throat or upper respiratory tract. In case of excessive inhalation may occur difficulty in breathing. Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid the inhalation of excessive dust. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment, for example a dust mask (EN 149) or a respirator with filter (EN 143). During normal use of this product is not expected an exposure to crystalline silica; however, effective levels must be determined by hygiene test of the work place. The percentage by weight of crystalline silica were not measured in this product.
