No significant human health hazards associated with this product during normal use conditions. Emergency Overview Wristbands are inert, non-hazardous solid articles Physical State Wristbands, various colors and sizes Entry Routes Eye Contact - Yes, Skin Contact – Yes Inhalation – No, Ingestion - No Eye Contact May cause eye irritation by mechanical abrasion. Skin Contact May cause skin irritation in persons sensitive to polymers Ingestion/Inhalation Not a likely route of exposure. Swallowing may induce choking or blockage of the gastrointestinal tract. Chronic/Acute Effects Chronic or Acute effects are unlikely. Wristband Safety When applying a wristband, place “one finger under” the band to ensure it is not too tight. During clinical treatments, showering, or washing -- bacteria, soap, or disinfection agents can get under the band, which can then vaporize if the band is too tight causing skin irritation. Hand Hygiene Use proper hand hygiene to reduce the spread of bacteria or other sources of contamination to a wristband and between persons.
