2.3 Other hazards
The product contains less than 1% w / w RCS (respirable crystalline silica). The "Size-Weighted Respirable Fraction SWERF" is used for the determination of the respirable crystalline silica content. (Details: www.crystallinesilica.eu) Depending on the handling and use, respirable fine dust can be created, containing respirable crystalline silica dust and may lead to pulmonary fibrosis (silicosis). Main symptoms are cough and breathlessness. Exposure to fine dust should be monitored and controlled. When handling the product methods and techniques should be used to minimize or prevent the dust.
