Possible harmful effect(s) on human beings and possible symptom(s): Exposure to dust in excess of TLV (Treshhold Limit Value) may result in skin or upper respiratory tract irritation. Pre-existing skin or respiratory disorders may cause more susceptibility to these effects. Possible harmful effect(s) on the environment: No risks worthy of mention.
Other hazards
Dust can create potentially explosive mixtures of dust and air. In case of mechanical processing protection measures are to be taken with regard to dust generation. Fine particles may possibilty short time irritate the eyes, skin and respiratory tract.
