SECTION 2: Hazards identification
WARNINGS! FLAMMABLE LIQUID AND VAPOR.MAY BE HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. MAY AFFECT THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM CAUSING DIZZINESS, HEADACHE OR NAUSEA. PROLONG OR REPEATED CONTACT MAY DRY THE SKIN AND CAUSE IRRITATION AND BURNS.
Potential health effects
Acute Eyes: Severely irritating. If not removed promptly will injure eye, which may result in permanent damage. Acute Skin: Prolonged or repeated contact causes redness, drying of the skin and dermatitis. Acute Inhalation: Concentrations of 100 – 200 ppm cause throat and nose irritation. Higher concentrations cause more severe irritation, headache, nausea, dizziness and may have other central nervous system effects. Acute Ingestion: Minimal toxicity. Small amount of liquid aspiration into the respiratory system during ingestion or from vomiting may cause bronchopneumonia or pulmonary edema. .
Potential chronic health
This product does not contain any ingredient designated by IARC, NTP, ACGIH or OSHA as probable or suspected human carcinogen. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged overexposure to solvent with neurological and other physiological damage.
