SECTION 2: Hazards identification

Emergency Overview: This product is a solid tape with a pressure sensitive adhesive sandwiched between a polyolefin membrane and a siliconized release liner. The product is not flammable but will burn under fire conditions. May cause mild eye and skin irritation. Eye: Irritant as a foreign body. First check victim for contact lenses and remove if present. Flush victim’s eyes with large quantities of water, holding the eyelids apart. Get medical attention if irritation persists. Skin Contact: Possible irritant. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. If rash or irritation develop, get medical attention. Inhalation: Unlikely to be hazardous by inhalation. If symptoms of exposure develop, remove victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult or symptoms persist get medical attention. Ingestion: Low oral toxicity. If conscious, rinse mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. Get medical attention.
