Hazards identification The preparation is not classified as dangerous according to Directive 1999/45/EC and its amendments. Specific Hazards Ingestion Acute Effects: Ingestion can cause irritation to gastrointestinal tract. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. May cause systemic poisoning with symptoms paralleling those of inhalation. Skin Absorption/Contact Acute Effects: May cause irritation with redness and pain. May be absorbed through the skin with systemic effects. Inhalation Acute Effects: Can cause irritation to respiratory tract. Symptoms may include sore throat, coughing, headache, nausea, and shortness of breath. Inhalation of mist or spray may be harmful. Eye Contact Acute Effects: Vapors are irritating and may produce immediate pain, redness, and tearing. Splashes can cause severe eye pain, stinging, swelling. Chronic Effects: May cause liver and kidney damage. Chronic exposure may cause blood effects. Chronic exposure may cause effects similar to those of acute exposure.
