May be corrosive to metals. Harmful if swallowed. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

Prevention

Keep only in original packaging. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Avoid release to the environment. Wear protective gloves/ protective clothing/ eye protection/ face protection.

Response

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Immediately wash material off the skin thoroughly with 2% acetic acid and plenty of water until slimy feeling disappears. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. Absorb spillage to prevent material damage. Collect spillage.

Storage

Store locked up. Store in corrosive resistant container with a resistant inner liner.

Disposal

Passed to a licensed waste contractor. Other hazards which do not result in None.
