SECTION 2: Hazards identification
3.1. To people: Potassium hydroxide contained within the GreaseMax unit is classified as hazardous in the sense of Directive 1999/45/EG. Corrosive to skin, contact can cause burns. Corrosive to eyes, contact can cause cornea burns. 3.2 For the environment: Potassium hydroxide can damage waters by increasing Ph. 3.3 For materials: Potassium hydroxide solution can corrode most metals.
