TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
on the regulated components of Acute toxicity: this product are as follows: Oral LD50, rat: 1,984 mg/kg (OECD Guideline 401) Tripropylene glycol diacrylate, CAS: 42978-66-5 Inhalation: not determined Tripropylene glycol diacrylate has acute oral (rat) LD50 and acute dermal (rabbit) LD50 values of 6800 mg/kg and >2000 mg/kg, respectively. Irritation/corrosion: not irritating to skin or eyes (OECD Guidelines 404 and 405) Direct contact causes skin and eye irritation. Sensitization: Skin sensitizing effects were not observed in animal studies (OECD Guideline 406) Overexposure to vapor or mist may cause respiratory irritation. Repeated Dose Toxicity: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin sensitization or dermatitis. The substance may cause damage to the peripheral nervous system after repeated ingestion of high doses. Propoxylated Glycerol Triacrylate, CAS: 52408-84-1 OECD Guideline 407 rat, NOAEL: 100 mg/kg Oral LD50 Rat: > 2000 mg/kg OECD Guideline 408 rat. NOAEL: 75 mg/kg Dermal LD50 Rabbit: > 2000 mg/kg Genetic toxicity: The substance was not mutagenic in bacteria, mammalian cell cultures or in a test with mammals. Eye irritation: serious corneal opacity, considerable redness and edema Reproductive Toxicity: Skin irritation: no dermal reactions (OECD-PII=0) Causes impairment of fertility in laboratory animals. Mutagenicity: negative in the Ames test, positive in the Development: mouse lymphoma gene mutation test The substance caused malformations/developmental toxicity in laboratory animals.
