Regulation EC1907/2006 (Reach) Our product is not a ‘chemical’ or a ‘mixture’. We manufacture and supply an ‘article’ insomuch as our paper during production is given a special shape, surface or design which determines its function to a greater degree than does its chemical composition. Furthermore, there is no normal or reasonably foreseeable release of substances under normal conditions of use. Because our article does not contain SVHC’s (substance of very high concern) above the concentration limit of 0.1% (w/w), we have no reporting obligations according to Article 7(2) and Article 33. We choose, however, to continue to produce a relevant Safety Data Sheet in line with our commitment to operate to the highest ethical standards, and in the interests of health & safety. Section 3: Composition and determination of hazard classification of components The article is a gelatine impregnated paper for use as a jointing material within automotive and industrial applications.
