Health hazards
Limited evidence of a carcinogenic effect. May cause sensitisation by skin contact. In case of fire, or under certain conditions of low temperature and high pressure in the presence of carbon monoxide, metallic nickel can form nickel carbonyl. Under normal operating conditions and usage of this material, this is unlikely to occur. See section 11 for more detailed information on health effects and symptoms.
