SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Main Toxicological and Ecological hazards: Corrosive. Causes burns. Causes burns in contact with skin and eyes. The burn penetrates deep into the tissue and is often only noticed after some time. Serious risk of lasting damage to eyesight. May cause sensitisation bt inhalation. Harmful if swallowed. Contact with acid liberates toxic gas. Discharge of large amounts into the aquatic environment may cause a change in the pH-value.
