SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Toxicity: May cause severe eye irritation. May irritate the skin. Irritates mucous membranes. Ingestion may irritate digestive tract and cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Principle Routes of Exposure
Eye and skin contact, ingestion, inhalation Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: Can cause severe burns to eyes, with even small amounts resulting in permanent damage and/or loss of vision.. Moderately toxic if swallowed. Irritating to mouth, throat and stomach with nausea. Inhalation overexposure may cause irritation, coughing and flu-like symptoms. Skin: Exposure may cause mild skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated exposure may dry the skin. Symptoms may include redness, burning, drying, cracking and skin burns. Preexisting skin disorders may be aggravated by exposure. .
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure
Preexisting eye, skin and respiratory disorders may be aggravated by overexposure to this product.
