SECTION 2: Hazards identification
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW – Water White thin viscosity liquid with pungent odor. Danger. Corrosive liquid and vapor. Combustible liquid and vapor. Cause eye, skin and respiratory tract burn. Keep away from heat sparks and flames. If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Get immediate medical attention. Do not get on skin, in eyes, taste or swallow. Keep container tightly closed. Use only with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Potential health effects
Eyes: Liquid is severely irritating to the eyes. Skin: Liquid is severely irritating to the skin. Ingestion: Ingestion of liquid may cause vomiting. Inhalation: High concentration of vapors may produce irritation of the respiratory tract, headache, dizziness, and nausea.
Potential chronic health
Prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin sensitization or dermatitis. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with irreversible brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating or inhaling this product may be harmful or fatal.
