Frequent inhalation of dust over a long period of time increases the next page: 2 risk of developing lung diseases. Depending on the use and handling (e.g. grinding, drying) the formation of airborne crystalline silicium dioxid (quartz, cristobalite) is possible. The symptoms of silicosis are coughing and breathlessness. Avoid formation of dust.
